- The Program for the Hot Air Balloon Flight in Marrakech.
- We recommend taking the flight around sunrise, as it is the best time to capture amazing photos of the palm groves, valleys, Berber villages, and other balloons in the sky. Sometimes, the flight may be delayed by a few minutes due to adverse weather conditions.
Season: All year round, subject to suitable weather conditions.
Pick-up: Summer (April through October) between 4:00 and 5:00 am, depending on your hotel or riad's location. Winter (November through March) between 5:00 and 6:00 am, depending on your place of residence or hotel area.
How do I know the pick-up time? We will provide you with an estimated pick-up time at the time of booking. Our team will either send an email or call you to confirm the pick-up time one day before the hot air balloon flight, between 5:00 and 7:00 pm.
Pick-up and Pre-flight: We will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech and take you for a ride to our launch location early in the morning. You will witness the preparation of the balloons on the ground and have the opportunity to watch and take pictures. The preparations will last only 15 minutes.
The hot air balloon will take off following the passenger briefing, which marks the start of your amazing experience over Marrakech. You will be served a welcome tea or coffee.
Take-off and Flight: The hot air balloon will begin its journey around dawn, and the elevation will rise to approximately 1,000 meters to give you a sunrise and stunning perspectives of the Marrakech palm grove, as well as its villages. Then, it will descend and glide through Berber villages and the gorgeous landscape of the Marrakech palm grove, offering stunning views for photos or videos. The tour will last around 1 hour.
On Landing: We will serve you a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast buffet under Caidale tents when you land. The team will present you with an official flight certificate to mark your ballooning experience in Marrakech.
In the late morning, our minibus (or 4x4) will bring you back to your hotel or riad in Marrakech, and the Marrakech hot air ballooning experience will come to an end.
